Steel Life is THRILLED to announce our first ‘Small Batch Original’, the Boho Modern hanging planter! Steel Life’s Small Batch collection allows us to create limited-edition products with other local artists and designers, with the focus of keeping overhead at a minimum to extend that savings onto our customer base. Maya Moon Designs is a local, handmade leather bag company in Bend, Oregon. Owner and artist, Maya Bauer, joined Steel Life to create the Boho Modern hanger by dipping into her unique and luscious leather collection. We are honored to have her talents showcased with our work.
Steel Life’s Small Batches will only be sold through our Facebook, Instagram and Etsy sites.
We are thrilled to be featured in the Makers section of The Designer’s Summer Issue! The Designer is a quarterly magazine put together by the internationally recognized, Association of Professional Landscape Designers (APLD). The publication provides designers and design enthusiasts with inspiration, ideas, and information about all aspects of landscape design. Click HERE to read the entire article (pg. 60-62).
Every Spring, we host a class in succulent care, living floral arrangements, or outdoor planters. We love using the Small Mod as a vessel because they are so diverse without overwhelming attendees. For more information on coming to a workshop or booking a private class of your own, contact us here.
The lovely San Francisco artist, author and horticulturalist Zenaida Sengo recently brought her talents to Steel Life. Zenaida styles interiors of Flora Grubb Gardens, and authored/art directed Air Plants: The Curious World of Tillandsias. We are thrilled with her photos of the Jack planter and hope to collaborate with the West Coast talent again soon!
